Pareshkumar has been member of committee in AWWA (American Water Works Association) tank design standard in past and currently member of Eurocode standard committee for tank design. During this years, Pareshkumar Shah is involved in standardisation, optimisation, creating sales and design tools to various standards around the world.



Our Tank Engineering Services

Structural design of tanks

Hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, wind buckling and seismic load analysis to ensure safe plate and seam design under all operating conditions for various design standards and allowing loads to local standards.

FM and LPCB approval

Tank design to FM 4020( Factory Mutual) standards and LPCB (Loss Prevention Certificate Board). Also, Involved in FM blanket approval.

NSF & DWI approval

Involved in material submission and testing samples for NSF and DWI approval. Involved in successful approval of products for approval of products for Drinking water.

Creating design and quotation tool

1. Review of Tank design:

Independent Review of bolted steel storage tank structural design to various industry standards.


2. Product standardisation:

Helping client to optimise bolt pattern for tank panels to different materials like carbon steel ( S355, S460, S700), stainless steel, Glass Fused to Steel tank panels, Duplex steels, etc.


3. Tank design:

Structural design of tanks to various industry standards like Eurocode, FM, AWWA, NFPA considering local tank design parameters like (NHBC, Eurocode NA to various European countries, New Zealand, Australia, etc) wherever applicable.


4. Detailed Analysis & Design:

Perform FEA checks for wind buckling or other non-standard loading.


5. Product approval:

Helping customer to get FM global approval ( seismic and non-seismic) to FM 4020 standards, NSF & DWI approval for drinking water application,


6. Roof design:

Design of roofs like trough deck roof, External beam roof ( pressurised and non-pressurised) to Eurocode.


7. Tank design coordination:

Checking the roof design for different types of roof like single and double membrane roof, dome roof, GRP roof supplied by others to ensure correct load path.



Industry Applications

Our bolted steel tanks serve a wide range of sectors, including but not limited to:

  • Water & Wastewater: Potable water storage, stormwater retention and sludge processing.
  • Anaerobic digesters: sealed tanks that use microorganisms to break down organic waste into biogas and a nutrient-rich liquid digestate. The digestate can be used as fertilizer while biogas can be used in national gas grid or as a vehicle fuel.
  • Mining & Bulk Materials: Leachate, tailings, brine and slurry containment solutions.
